ABOUT ME
THIRD YEAR JOURNALISM STUDENT AT TORONTO METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY
I’ve always been fascinated by stories.
The stories my grandfather tells about his childhood while he cuts up fruit for me.
The stories grown ups told way too loud for the hour, around dominos after the party.
The ones my siblings asked for at bedtime, with hot chocolate in a cup.
The ones that make your chest feel heavy, the ones that make eyes tear up.
Today, I like telling stories through features, podcasts, drawings or multimedia pieces.
So, I write about experiences.
Those of mothers, sisters, fathers, friends, lovers and everything in between.
Those of culture, traditions, connections ; mine and all the ones still unseen.
